Mission
Our History
Our association was formed by a group of interested individuals from Ebensburg Borough and Cambria Township in December of 1987, after the funeral homes in town announced they would no longer be providing ambulance services beginning February 1, 1968. On January 29, 1968 our articles of incorporation as a non profit organization were entered for the record, and approved by Judge George Griffith. Our first ambulance station was at 100 N Caroline Street. In 2015, we built our current station at 800 W High Street, where our association intends on remaining for years to come.
The mission of Ebensburg Area Ambulance Association to provide outstanding emergency medical services and patient transportation services. We provide these services in a professional manner while maintaining the dignity of those we serve.
